Highlights

Some of the things I have learned about Puerto Rico are quite random but cool to know like, basketball, volleyball, and boxing are the most popular sports. Also, they are very well-mannered and kiss you on the cheek when greeting them. Puerto Rico has also won 6 medals in the Olympics. Another interesting fact is that the largest telescope is located in Puerto Rico. The legal age to drink is eighteen years old. Gas is measured in litters not gallons, you drive on the right side of the right like Americans do but the road signs are in Spanish, not English. And lastly, the U.S. tried buying Puerto Rico for $160 million but Spain rejected. Puerto Rico's name was changed by the U.S. in 1998 to Porto Rico but was changed back in 1931. I have learned a lot about Puerto Rico to know that it is more than just pretty beaches and a good tourist location for cruises. I plan on reasearching about music and dances that Puerto Ricians like to listen and enjoy.
